Outside of public office Bridget works for a global commodities intelligence service as a Chief Marketing Officer, seeing first hand how Brexit and volatile policies damage our ecomomy and have fuelled the cost of living. Bridget lives with her family, her husband working in the defense sector in Surrey and her son attending sixth form. In her spare time Bridget loves reading, sports and watching films with her family.
Bridget Kendrick's political journey began 11 years ago right here, in Surrey, the county she now seeks to represent. Growing up in a working-class family in Kent, she learned the value of hard work and the importance of opportunities and taking them when available. As the duaghter of an Irish immigrant Europe was the issue that galvanised her into action, becoming a councillor shortly after and having served as Cabinet member for Finance and now Leader of Mole Valley.
